Lima, Cusco, Ollantaytambo Puerto Maldonado

Overview
9 Days

Lima, Peru’s capital city, is enveloped by beautiful colonial vestiges bestowed upon the city by the Spanish. Once known as the “City of Kings, ” Lima is now a sprawling metropolis flanked by picturesque hills, valleys, and pristine beaches that outline the Pacific Ocean.

Cusco was the capital of the Inca Empire from the 13th century until the 16th-century Spanish conquest. In 1983, Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with the title “City of Cuzco.”

Ollantaytambo is famous for its Inca archaeological site. There you can see fantastic stone constructions such as the Temple of the Sun, the Royal House of the Sun, the Monumental Portal, the Enclosure of the ten niches, and the Ñusta baths.

Puerto Maldonado, located in the country’s southeast, is the capital of Madre Dios; it has the official title of Capital of Biodiversity in Peru in recognition of essential records of flora and fauna found in the forests of the department, especially in the Manu.
